  • I was born and raised in a small town called MacTier where everyone knew everyone. Tennis was and still is a passion of mine as was the desire from a very young age to become a dentist. I wanted to create a dental practice with the same small town philosophy where everyone is treated like family and feels very at home and taken care of.

I did my post-secondary studies at The University of Western Ontario where I received my undergraduate degree in Physiology as well as my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After graduation in 1999 I completed a year-long dental residency at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto which afforded me invaluable experience with treating children.

Upon completion of my residency I moved to Colllingwood where I first associated with Dr. Farel Anderson (a mentor for life) and then in 2003 I took the big leap and opened my dental practice at its current location at 12 Second Street. There have been many changes and much growth in the practice itself with the most poignant change occurring in 2016 with the addition of Dr. Sam Goodman to the practice. 2 years later Dr. Goodman became a partner and the practice became Miller Goodman Dentistry. Since then we have grown by expanding our physical size as well as adding Dr. Nafis as a wonderful associate along with an awesome team. I am very proud of the team we have created.

Personally I am very proud to be a business owner in Collingwood and have enjoyed getting involved in the heart of Collingwood. I was a Charter member of the Rotary Club of Collingwood-South Georgian Bay where I was a proud Rotarian for 11 years, I was a Board member in the Downtown Collingwood BIA and I was the founder and current board member of the Rainbow Club of South Georgian Bay, a non-profit organization that was formed to support the members of the local LGBTQ+ community having organized 3 years of Pride festivals to the town of Collingwood.

Professionally I have always been interested in continuing education and aside from keeping up to date on current dental issues, education and technology I completed a Fellowship at the Las Vegas Institute which focuses on overall dental health and well-being through education in the area of Neuromuscular Dentistry. For me education is a life-long journey which will follow me throughout my career.

This year marks my 25th year as a dentist and I must say that I am blessed to have a wonderful practice with an incredible team and patients that I consider family. I look forward to many more years of growth, education and fulfillment here in Collingwood.

  • Dr. Sam Goodman was born and raised in Markham, Ontario.

Sam’s passion for oral health was sparked at a young age as he grew up watching his father do what he loved most – dentistry. Sam graduated from McMaster University with an Honours degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s of Business Administration. He went on to study dentistry and graduated with distinction from Western University with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.

Sam is an avid soccer player, playing for Canada at the Maccabiah Games in Israel and representing Ontario at the Canadian Nationals. He was also a member of the McMaster Marauders varsity soccer team, so sports is a big part of what he loves to do in his spare time. He also enjoys snowboarding, skiing, hiking, scuba, and basically any sport he can find time to play.

Sam spent the summer of 2014 providing needed dental outreach care to communities in Tanzania, Africa. He hopes to make outreach work an integral part of his dental career.

Sam and his wife Shannon, sons Tobin, Ellis and Jonah and dog Tommy are excited to call the Blue Mountains their home and are looking forward to becoming involved in the community. Growing up skiing in the area, Sam has developed an appreciation for the sense of community and natural beauty that the Blue Mountains area has to offer.

  • Dr. Nafis Seip moved to Collingwood in early 2021 to join the Miller Goodman Team.  She graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science and continued her studies at Western University where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was the class valedictorian.  In 2017 Dr. Seip completed a year long Implant Residency Program at the University of Toronto and she is also agraduate of the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics & Therapeutics where she joins some of the most highly trained and qualified botulinum toxin (Botox) practitioners in North America.

Her approach to dentistry is based on the philosophy that prevention of oral disease is the foundation for good oral health.  She believes that listening to her patients and educating them is key in not only addressing their concerns but more importantly empowering them to make the best decisions about both their oral and overall health.

Recognizing that dental anxiety and fears can pose as barriers to dental care for some, Dr. Seip prides herself in making every effort to keep her patients as comfortable as possible in hopes of making visits to the dentist a positive experience.

Growing up with older brothers Dr. Seip developed a love for speed and horsepower.  In the summer months you will find her taking track racing lessons at Motorsport Park, off-roading, boating and taking in the beautiful Georgian Bay scenery on long motorcycle rides.  In the winter months she enjoys skiing and zipping aroundthe lake on her snowmobile.

Dr. Seip along with her husband, two daughters and three dogs love to call beautiful Collingwood their home and she is excited to build lifelong relationships with all her patients for many years to come.

  • Dr. Kim grew up in Stratford and completed dental school at University of Western Ontario, Schulich school of Medicine and Dentistry in 2012.

Dr. Kim offers advanced treatments, including implant surgery, bone and soft tissue grafting, wisdom teeth extractions and IV moderate sedation. He is passionate about education and has lectured at national and international conferences. He is the director of KW Implant Study Club where local dentists gather for ongoing professional development.

He is also a director and faculty of GIIA implant live surgery course in Tijuana, Mexico. For his contributions, he is a faculty and selected Key Opinion Leader of Hiossen Implant Canada. He has master’s degree in implantology from Unicamillus International Medical University of Rome and is an appointed visiting professor at the same institute.

In addition, he was a co-editor of a textbook called ‘Minimally Invasive and Atraumatic Extraction of Third Molars.’

During his leisure time, he enjoys spending time at home with his wife and daughter.

  • H. Anthony Chung, BSc, DDS, Dip.Endo, FRCD(C)

Dr. Chung moved to Canada from Guyana with his family when he was nine years old. For as long as he can remember he has always been intrigued with how things work. As he grew up he transitioned from taking toys apart to look inside them to looking inside of teeth.

Anthony completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto and then followed up with his dental degree in Cleveland, Ohio at Case Western Reserve University. Personal goals to be an outstanding clinician led him to complete a program in advanced dentistry via CWRU and University Hospitals of Cleveland. The AEGD program provided valuable experience in the management of children and medically compromised patients.

Completion of the endodontic program at U of T then provided the skills to look even deeper inside of teeth. Along with clinical practice, teaching has also been one of Anthony’s passions. He continues to serve the profession in this capacity.

Anthony owned a busy endodontic practice in Barrie, Ontario for over twenty years and is still learning how to balance work with his hobbies.

Understanding that a tooth is part of a greater biologic system and that the physiology of a tooth is interrelated to the physiology of the entire body, Anthony began a program in osteopathic manual therapy in 2011. He hopes to marry dentistry and osteopathy in the future with the idea of preventing the need for root canal treatment in some patients.

Anthony loves traveling with his camera. He has trekked to the top of Africa, through the mountains of Peru, and stood on the ice of Antarctica. In his heart, however, the Caribbean still beats.
